Stop.
Stop what you are doing and take a moment to remind yourself that everything will turn out okay. Hard times happen for all of us, but they can leave us as a stronger person if we let them. Right now, things may feel like a storm that will never let up. But hold on just a little bit longer and trust that the ending will come soon enough. These difficult times are what shape us into the individuals that we aspire to be. It takes tribulations to learn. It takes hardship to grow. Progression is not a pretty little journey, but rather a dirty job. It is the end result which makes everything worth it. So tell yourself, “This too shall pass.” Really say it, out loud so that you can hear your voice. After these words have left your lips, you needn’t feel so weighted down by your burdens. They will pass, and you will be given so many chances to grow in between.
