Hi Kids,

So it seems at least for now, the LA and the OC will not be trying to combine their meet up. That said, anyone from anywhere can COME to the meet ups, but for the sake of those in each place… i think we start small.

There seems to be a lot of talk from the majority of the LA-based Tumblr’s that the Hollywood Area would be preferred. So we will start with that region.

Anyone know of some good places you would like to convene around 9p on Jan 9?

P.S. It does not have to start at 9 for any particular reason… if enough people want to start earlier, please say so. I am personally free after about 1p that day.

Hollywood is pretty easy. I mean… There are places like, the given, the done-so-many-times Big Wang’s. Which is “Hollywood” without being TOO Hollywood, but on a Friday I dunno if it may be too packed? Orrr there are places like The Griffin (in Atwater) or The Well (Hollywood) or NoBar (North Hollywood) or Skinny’s (also, North Hollywood) or 4100 Bar (Below Los Feliz/Sunset Junctionish) or one of the many Barney’s Beaneries…

I usually don’t hang out TOO much in Hollywood because, well… I’m from LA… Most places IN Hollywood are not very representative of LA (in my mind at least) so these other places are a little less extreme on the douche/tool factor.

Any other suggestions? Comments? Concerns? Questions?

I’m excited!!!

I’m in NoHo myself, so both NoHo and Ho are fairly easy (as are the surrounding areas).

Sounds like a stellar idea though.  Yay!
