What’s the scariest movie you’ve seen?
- As an “adult”?
- As a child?
- What’s your favorite?
As an adult: Dawn of the Dead (remake) and The Blair Witch Project (I also can’t even watch clips of Eraserhead without freaking out.)
As a child: Carrie and Poltergeist
Favorite: Sleepy Hollow (if that counts)
Mind you, there are tons of horror movies that I love, but not many that scare me and make me want to sleep with the light on. That being said, here are mine:
1. As an adult: Shutter (the original Thai version!! Still freaks the crap out of me!!), Ju-On (again, the original version), the Others
2. As a child: Children of the Corn, Poltergeist, Nightmare on Elm Street, the Exorcist, the Shining (pretty typical assortment, I guess). Oh! And The Day After - Not horror, per se, but it still traumatizes me to this very day.
3. Favorites are easily: Shutter (Seriously, watch this if you haven’t yet), the Exorcist, Audition, Rec, and Suspiria
