Won passes to a screening of the Crazies, which happened last night. They went all out with the event - At KCET, there were people dressed as military trying to get us to a “secure area”, people on gurneys going nuts and screaming “I just wanna go home!!”, people dressed as doctors trying to calm them down. This is a picture of my friend Tony, as we were getting screened and scanned before being ushered on to a bus to be taken from the quarantine area to the secure area.
Screening was at the Vista, which is an awesome theater. There were a lot of people dressed as police and military there also, and one mock-altercation between an actor posing as an audience member and military trying to find a security breach.
After the movie we were treated to an after-party. It was a TON of fun. The movie itself was pretty entertaining too. I’d recommend seeing it with a group of people, since that added to the fun vibe, with everyone screaming/jumping, laughing and clapping. Good times all around!
The person who took the picture above took another 111 shots of all of the stuff that was going on around us at the screening.
The rest of the set can be found here.
