Won passes to a screening of the Crazies, which happened last night. They went all out with the event - At KCET, there were people dressed as military trying to get us to a “secure area”, people on gurneys going nuts and screaming “I just wanna go home!!”, people dressed as doctors trying to calm them down. This is a picture of my friend Tony, as we were getting screened and scanned before being ushered on to a bus to be taken from the quarantine area to the secure area. Screening was at the Vista, which is an awesome theater. There were a lot of people dressed as police and military there also, and one mock-altercation between an actor posing as an audience member and military trying to find a security breach. After the movie we were treated to an after-party. It was a TON of fun. The movie itself was pretty entertaining too. I’d recommend seeing it with a group of people, since that added to the fun vibe, with everyone screaming/jumping, laughing and clapping. Good times all around!
