tesslynch: Tess Lynch, b. 1983 in New York City, died today of complications from it being too fucking hot. She is the author of 500 Days of Hat, and other things. She tried to fight the murderous heat by drinking beer and doing other smart things, but the weather done licked her, and licked her but good. She was only twenty seven and a half, and had so much life left in her, but she made the mistake of walking four blocks to a 7-11 during the midday scorch. She was found half-eaten by a group of old-school cannibalistic Aborigines under an azalea bush. Her last meal was nothing: we can only assume it was too fucking hot to eat. Her will dictates that she be remembered as she was in this photo, winking at God and drinking 2%*. Her blog, surely, will live on as she continues to update from beyond the grave. *she acknowledges that milk was a bad choice and, were she alive, she would thank you for sharing this Anchor Man reference with her in your comments. Maybe, had she the strength, she would even share a tiny laugh with you before dying all over again because it’s still one thousand degrees. That’s just the kind of girl she was. Damn you, heat!
